"Treating Addiction...Improving Our Community..."

ConfrontConfront utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to assessment & treatment for men, women and adolescents (over the age of 12) who are struggling with problems of substance abuse, addiction and associated issues. Treatment is individualized to meet client's needs and goals. Spanish speaking services are available (both individual and groups). Children under the age of 12 who have been identified victims of physical and/or sexual abuse are also served when this service is requested by Lehigh or Northampton County Children and Youth Services. In addition, Confront provides transitional support for Lehigh County OCYS children who are being placed in kinship or fostercare on a referral basis.

Confront is a licensed outpatient addiction treatment facility

Confront now provides drug & alcohol assessments (in Spanish and English) for individuals who need to be assessed to determine the level of care that will best meet their needs to begin a process of recovery. Referrals to the appropriate level of care are included as part of this service.  Assessment hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:00pm., and Fridays 8:30am-Noon. This is available for both adolescents and adults.

Criminal thinking & behavior are proactively addressed. Fathering & Restorative Parenting Groups are offered periodically. Basic life skills training such as budgeting, resume preparation, employment interviewing, & vocational referrals are also part of the Confront program. Daily yoga is available.

Confront is committed to providing students with an internship program that utilizes and transforms academic knowledge into professional experience.  Internship positions are available for graduate students seeking to fulfill course requirements and achieve practical experience in an outpatient setting for drug and alcohol treatment.  Students will engage in weekly supervision with their onsite supervisor and, when appropriate, acquire a caseload.  Bachelor level students are also welcomed.
