Every day, organizations across our community work tirelessly to help individuals find hope, healing, and recovery. Yet many of us only know each other through referrals, emails, or phone calls.
Provider Olympics changes that.
This one-of-a-kind event brings together treatment providers, hospitals, behavioral health organizations, peer organizations, recovery housing, criminal justice partners, EMS, colleges, and community agencies for a day of friendly competition, networking, and collaboration. Through creative team challenges inspired by real-world recovery situations, participants build stronger relationships while learning more about the incredible resources available throughout our community.
Because when providers know one another personally, collaboration becomes easier—and the people we serve benefit.

What to expect
Opening Ceremony
Kick off the day with breakfast, team introductions, a parade of teams, and a shared Recovery Pledge before the games begin.
Interactive Challenges
Rather than traditional athletic competitions, teams will participate in engaging activities designed around recovery and community collaboration.
Examples include:

Provider Scavenger Hunt: Discover organizations, services, and resources while competing in a collaborative BINGO-style challenge.

Community Impact Relay: Work together assembling recovery welcome kits, hygiene supplies, educational materials, and more—items that will ultimately benefit members of our community.

FAQ
1. Is this an athletic event?
Not in the traditional sense! The Provider Olympics focuses on teamwork, creativity, communication, and collaboration - not physical fitness.
2. What should we wear?
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. You will not know who is a part of your competing team until the day of the event, so coordination is not necessary.
3. How many people from my organization can participate?
Each organization is encouraged to bring as many folks as possible! While not everyone will be able to participate in the games, cheerleaders are important as well. We would estimate 2-3 individuals max per organization to participate directly in the games.
4. Can organizations sponsor the event?
Absolutely! Sponsorship opportunities are available for multiple pathways of contributing to this unique event. Those interested are able to choose between financial sponsorship, which will be donated directly to a local recovery house (TBD), items to assist in facilitating the event, or other contributions like food/time.
